Welcome to Square Lake Association (SLA for short). We hope you find this website useful in obtaining information about our community.  ​ Square Lake Association, a neighborhood membership organization, is comprised of two adjacent subdivisions, Square Lake and Meadowlands, containing approximately 172 properties. We also share the area with two condo associations which, although not a formal part of SLA, often join us in social events.

Annual neighborhood clean up day - tbd 2025

Please join your friends and neighbors for our annual "Clean Sweep" event.  We will gather at the entrance to the Meadowlands at a day specifed next spring to distribute trash bags and organize teams to collect debris around our neighborhood.  Bring gloves, rakes and your community spirit!

  • ​If you are a new boater, you may be required to attend a boater's safety class to operate a motor boat in the State of Michigan.  This is especially important (and required) for young people who may be driving your watercraft.  Spring is a great time to learn all about the laws governing boat operation.  Call the Oakland County Sheriff - Marine Unit at 248-858-7831 to find out when new classes are added each month or see a schedule on their website (click here.) ​
